At the beginning of the collection development there was the idea of ​​a group of friends. The title of the collection is based on a group, who actually existed in Great Britain in the 1930s. These were photographed by the photographer and artist Cecil Beaton. These images and the stories they tell, were the main inspiration for the collection.

My aim was, to create five different characters and give each of the looks a very special soul. There were long considerations for each character and I had a clear idea of ​​the person, for whom I was making the clothes beforehand. So I tailored each piece to a specific person.

It was essential for me to produce the collection seasonally independently and for every gender identity, which is the soul of Quaintrelle.
